The VIOFO A329TC 3CH is made for those who want to capture everything. Front and inside the car or at a distance: three cameras film simultaneously in 4K and 2K. The front camera records in 4K at 30 fps, the telephoto and cabin cameras film in 2K at 30 fps. All three use Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, so license plates, faces, and details remain more visible in changing light and darkness.

Three cameras, three perspectives

The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 8MP sensor with an F1.8 lens and a viewing angle of 140 degrees. The telephoto and cabin cameras use a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 5MP sensor. The telephoto lens has a viewing angle of 35 degrees and is designed to zoom in from a distance, for example on license plates further away. The cabin camera has an extremely wide viewing angle of 210 degrees and films the entire interior in 2K.

Telephoto lens for license plates and details

The 2K telephoto camera offers 4x optical zoom. This brings distant situations closer without distorting the image. Thanks to STARVIS 2, the telephoto lens also works well in low light. The combination of zoom and 2K resolution makes the A329TC suitable if you want to see more details than with a single wide-angle camera.

Wide view

The 2K cabin camera works as a fisheye with a viewing angle of 210 degrees. This lets you see both the entire cabin and part of the sides of the car. The camera also keeps details sharp in low light with infrared LEDs. The camera offers two display modes, so you can switch between a fisheye image and a natural view.

Image quality and storage

All three channels benefit from STARVIS 2 and HDR. This better handles large differences between light and dark and keeps license plates readable. The A329TC supports loop recording in intervals from 1 to 10 minutes and uses the H.264 video format in MP4 files. For storage, you can use a microSD card up to 512 GB and an external SSD up to 4 TB. This significantly extends the total recording time.

Connectivity and control

The A329TC supports WiFi 6 on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, ensuring fast data transfer to your phone. Additionally, there is a USB 3.0 data function for even higher transfer speeds to compatible devices. With voice control, you can start recordings, take photos, or turn WiFi on or off using voice commands. The dashcam also provides spoken notifications for settings or memory card errors.

The built-in GPS logger supports four satellite systems, and when playing back in the VIOFO app or PC player, you see route, speed, and time alongside the footage.

Parking mode and monitoring

In parking mode, you can choose from five settings: Hybrid Parking Recording, Low Power Impact Detection, Auto Event Detection, timelapse, and low bitrate recording. With Auto Event Detection, the dashcam automatically starts recording upon movement, and thanks to buffering, footage from 15 seconds before to 30 seconds after the event is saved.

Low Power Impact Detection consumes little power. The camera is on standby and activates within about two seconds after a shock to record for one minute. With timelapse (1 to 10 fps), you record longer with less storage use. Low bitrate recording makes continuous recordings in smaller files. The G-sensor and loop recording ensure new recordings overwrite old files, except when a collision is detected.
