De VIOFO A229 Pro 1CH dashcam is dé perfecte optie voor wie volledige bescherming zoekt en het liefst elk detail van elke rit vastlegt. Met de nieuwste dubbele camera's, voorzien van Sony's geavanceerde STARVIS 2-technologie, zet deze dashcam een nieuwe standaard neer. De camera biedt ongeëvenaarde 4K-opnamemogelijkheden aan de voorkant, wat zorgt voor haarscherpe videokwaliteit op elk moment van de dag én nacht. De VIOFO A229 Pro 1CH bevat een gratis CPL-200 filter in de verpakking.

De dashcam is uitgerust met een 2,4 inch ultra HD scherm, voor kristalheldere foto- en videovoorbeelden voor tijdens het rijden. Voor een veilig en gemakkelijk gebruik is een bluetooth-afstandsbediening optioneel.

Dubbele Sony STARVIS 2-sensoren

De A229 Pro is 1CH voorloper in de dashcam-wereld door gebruik te maken van twee toonaangevende Sony STARVIS 2-beeldsensoren. Met de IMX678 en IMX675 sensoren geniet je van een breder dynamisch bereik en een hogere lichtgevoeligheid dan de standaard STARVIS-technologie. Dit vertaalt zich overdag naar aanzienlijk verminderde ruis en bewegingsonscherpte, en 's nachts naar helderdere opnames.

Slimme stembediening en 24/7 parkeerbewaking

De dashcam heeft een geavanceerde spraakbesturingsfunctie waarmee je de opname beheert, foto’s maakt en WiFi regelt. Dat doe je met eenvoudige gesproken opdrachten in verschillende talen (Engels, Chinees, Russisch, Japans). Het houdt je via spraakmeldingen ook op de hoogte van instellingswijzigingen of geheugenkaartfouten, zodat je altijd gefocust blijft op de weg.
Dankzij een ingebouwde bufferfunctie begint de camera automatisch met opnemen zodra bewegende objecten worden gedetecteerd. Hij slaat 15 seconden vóór en 30 seconden na de gedetecteerde gebeurtenis op als video.

Top Image quality

After almost 6 years, I had to replace my A119S. What I don't like about the A229 Pro is the angle connecter, the cable must be guided upwards. The bracket is very fiddly compared to the old bracket. Why do you make a cable with USB-C to USB-A? The image quality of the A229 Pro is top.

Very happy with the dashcam

Bought a 1 channel A229 Pro.
The GPS modul was not working but was fast replaced by the customer service (refreshing speed and customer-oriented attitude 😊).
The installation was easy. I like the compactness of the camera and its userfriendliness.
Something that I do not like is the small screen for the camera on the Viofo app. The screen is too small and it cannot be expanded. I can understand the thinking behind it; Viofo wants space for 3 screens (for 3 cameras). But when you have 1 camera, then one should be able to expand the screen.
Another annoying feature is that while the video seems to have excellent quality in the app, the quality diminishes when I transfer the video to e.g. my camera. Interestingly the speedometer also “stops” working when the video is transferred, that is in only shows 2 km/h. Maybe I have missed something, but I could not find anything on the web or the instructions.

Very happy with the dashcam

I bought my first ever dashcam after an extensive research.
I received though a faulty GPS part, which was rapidly exchanged by VIOFO - excellent service!
The camera functions well, but what I am less satisfied with is the video quality when downloaded and played on e.g. my laptop. The picture becomes flickery. Furthermore, of some reason, the speed is displayed as zero, even though I know that during driving the speedometer works.
