The VIOFO BP100 is a separate battery developed for dashcams that remain active when the car is parked. Instead of drawing power from your vehicle's battery, this battery powers the dashcam independently. This allows parking surveillance to remain active for extended periods without the risk of battery issues.

Secure parking surveillance

As soon as you turn off the ignition, the BP100 takes over the power supply of your dashcam. The built-in LiFePO4 battery has a capacity of 7650 mAh and is designed for stable and long-lasting power delivery. Depending on the dashcam model and the selected parking mode, the battery can last up to 32 hours.

Because the dashcam operates independently, your car's battery remains unaffected. This is especially important when your car is stationary for extended periods.

Even longer parking times

For situations where you need extra long parking surveillance, the BP100 can be expanded with a separate battery. In combination with this expansion, the total capacity can reach almost 23,000 mAh. This makes it suitable for long-term parking where extra security is desired.

Charging while driving

The BP100 charges while driving. This can be done via a fixed connection to your fuse box or through the cigarette lighter. When connected to the fuses, the battery is fully charged in about seventy-five minutes. Charging via the cigarette lighter takes about an hour and three quarters.

The different charging methods are intended for different situations. The fixed connection is designed for permanent installation, while charging via the cigarette lighter is practical for temporary setup. The necessary cables for both situations are included as standard.

Safe battery technology

The BP100 uses LiFePO4 battery technology, a battery type known for high stability and long lifespan. This battery technology is more resistant to temperature fluctuations and intensive charging and discharging than traditional lithium batteries.

The battery is equipped with multiple protections against overcharging, deep discharge, short circuit, and overheating. Temperature monitoring ensures the system protects itself at extreme temperatures, which is useful if your vehicle is parked outside year-round.

Insight via app and Bluetooth

Via Bluetooth, you can connect the BP100 to the app. This gives you insight into the battery status, temperature, and power consumption of your dashcam. Energy consumption is automatically managed and adjusted for safe and efficient use, without needing manual settings.

Additional power supply

In addition to the connection for the dashcam, the BP100 has a USB-C output with a power of 5V and 3A. This allows you to use the battery as an emergency power supply for your smartphone or tablet. The total energy capacity is 98 Wh, enough to recharge mobile devices while the dashcam remains active.
